Gaming Realities: the Challenge of Digital Culture
Conference

The Conference 'Gaming Realities: the Challenge of Digital Culture'
focuses on four Subject Areas covering a wide range of crucial issues and
questions concerning Games and their position in Digital Culture, studied
from the Observers' as well as from the Players' point of view: in
Subject Area Α the Socio-Political, Psychological, Cognitive and
Philosophical aspects of Game are analysed; in Subject Area B the
influences of Game in Art and the Game as 21st century's New Art are
studied; in Subject Area C Technologies and Techniques that develop or
are developed by the Game are presented; and finally Subject Area D
concerns the emergence and growth of the New Economy of Games defining
its impact in Art and Society of the 21st century.

The subject areas that constitute the four basic axes of the Conference
are described by indicative topics around which the speakers are invited
to communicate.

Koje formatiranje izabrati za eksterni hard disk i koja je realna USB 3.0 brzina?

Nisam ni slutio šta me čeka nakon što sam kupio novi eksterni hard disk 2TB WD Elements Portable. Naime, do sada sam koristio sličan uređaj iste firme od 1TB, ali nikada nisam obratio pažnju na formatiranje (FAT32) niti sam iskreno znao nešto više o tome. Disk je radio na svim platformama i ja sam mislio da to uglavnom tako i treba da bude. 
Prikačio sam novi hard formatiran po NTFS standardu i shvatio da ne mogu da ga koristim na Macu. Nisam se previše uzbuđivao pošto sam znao da je OS X specifičan. Linux mint je prepoznao uređaj, ali sam se iznenadio brzinom prenosa podataka. Godinama sam na raznim mestima čitao o tome kako je USB 3.0 neverovatno brži od USB 2.0 standarda i očekivao sam da sve poleti. 
Konsultovao sam se oko ovih problema sa prijateljem koji mi je predložio da probam različita formairanja i da ponekad proizvođači pogrešno označe portove pa je ovaj uređaj možda prikačen na stariji standard. Na žalost i nakon svog eksperimentisanja rezultati su bili isti.

Samsung Xcover 2 (C3350) - mobilni telefon otporan na vodu i prašinu

Pre oko mesec dana, nakon što mi je istekao ugovor od dve godine, rešio sam da privatni android telefon zamenim modelom Samsung Xcover 2. Moj službeni telefon (HTC Desire S) ima jači procesor, podržava sve aplikacije koje koristim i zaista više nije bilo potrebe da sa sobom nosim dva slična modela. 
Zašto sam se odlučio za Samsung Xcover 2? U pitanju je pravi outdoor mobilni telefon koji možete uprljati i potopiti u vodu pola sata na 1 m dubine (samim tim kiša i sneg neće predstavljati problem dok ste u prirodi) Baterija je neverovatna, uz intenzivno korišćenje traje pet dana, a u normalnim uslovima bez problema i sedam. Njen kapacitet je 1,300mAh i zvanično treba da obezbedi 1.150 minuta razgovora (19h), ili 1.000 sati mirovanja (skoro šest nedelja) Dugmići su gumirani, malčice jači i daju lep otpor prilikom pritiskanja, a dovoljno su veliki pa se mogu koristiti sa rukavicama. Posebno mi znači to što za razliku od ekrana osetljivog na dodir ne pritiskam pogrešna slova i mogu slepo da …

Mreža Kreativnih Ljudi - kraj projekta

Mreža je projekat koji sam započeo pre oko 13,5 godina.
Naučio sam puno i zahvalan sam za stečeno iskustvo.  Ipak, već nekoliko godina unazad nemam vremena da je razvijam kao što sam to nekada činio.  Imam potrebu da radim nešto novo i osećam da je vreme da nastavim dalje.
Veliko hvala svim rođacima, prijateljima, saradnicima, članovima i posetiocima koji su omogućili da ona funkcioniše i postoji ovoliko dugo.
Sajt će sigurno biti dostupan još mnogo godina, ali se od naredne nedelje neće objavljivati novi sadržaj.
